At Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC), we are committed to promoting and protecting the legal rights and well-being of children and youth in foster care. While our core work centers around representing children in their child protection cases, many of our clients experience additional legal issues beyond the scope of our services. To help meet these critical needs, we are expanding our network of pro bono attorneys to whom we can refer clients for assistance in a variety of legal areas.
Join Our Referral Network
We invite attorneys and law firms to partner with CLC by joining our Pro Bono Attorney Referral Network. Volunteers on this list may be contacted when a CLC client or foster youth has a legal matter that matches their area of expertise and availability.
We are especially seeking attorneys with experience in the following areas:
- Criminal Representation (youth 18–21)
- Debt Collection
- Disability Discrimination
- Employment Issues & Unemployment Benefits
- Financial Fraud
- Housing (landlord/tenant, eviction)
- Immigration (youth 10–21)
- Juvenile Commitments
- Juvenile Delinquency Expungement
- Licensing Revocation (Administrative Law)
- Orders for Protection & Harassment
- Probate Matters (inheritance, supplemental needs trusts)
- School Discipline Representation
- Social Security Benefit Issues
