[St. Paul, MN] — The Board of Directors of Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) today announced that Susan Dioury will be stepping down from her role as Executive Director, effective January 30, 2026, due to personal reasons.
Under Susan’s leadership, CLC has made significant strides in advancing its mission to promote and protect the legal rights and well-being of foster youth through legal advocacy, educational outreach, and policy reform. During her tenure, she worked with the CLC team to grow partnerships, enhance CLC’s educational outreach, and develop a road map to provide more foster children and youth with the quality legal representation they deserve.
“Serving as Executive Director of CLC has been one of the greatest honors of my career,” said Dioury. “I am deeply proud of what our team has accomplished and confident that the organization is well positioned to continue making a meaningful difference for foster children and youth in Minnesota.”
Board Chair Holley Horrell expressed gratitude for Dioury’s dedication and contributions. “On behalf of the Board, staff, and community, we thank Susan for her leadership and unwavering commitment to our mission. We wish her all the best in this next chapter.”
The Board of Directors has begun the search for a new Executive Director to lead CLC into its next phase of growth and service. “This is a moment of transition and opportunity,” said Chair Horrell. “We are looking for a visionary and collaborative leader who will build upon our strong foundation and continue driving forward our important work.”
