The Board of Directors of Children’s Law Center of Minnesota (CLC) is pleased to announce Susan Dioury as the organization’s new Executive Director. Ms. Dioury brings with her 23 years of distinguished experience in the non-profit sector, with broad experience in board governance, strategic planning, government affairs, finance and budgeting, risk management, operations, and professional standards.
Susan holds a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and has completed Alternative Dispute Resolution training certified by the Minnesota Supreme Court. She has authored and presented numerous continuing education courses and has played integral roles in addressing legislative concerns, including extensive engagement with state legislative and regulatory entities.
“I am thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate with the exceptional team of staff and volunteer attorneys to further CLC’s crucial mission of delivering legal representation to children in Minnesota as they confront the complexities of the foster care system,” Dioury says. “Together, we will enhance CLC’s advocacy and educational endeavors to create even more positive changes for Minnesota’s children.”
CLC promotes the legal rights and well-being of children and youth. CLC’s staff and volunteers provide direct representation of children and youth, primarily in the child welfare system, and advocate for changes in the systems that affect their lives.
Susan will lead CLC’s team of highly talented and dedicated staff and hundreds of volunteer attorneys.
The Board is confident that Susan will be instrumental in advancing the mission of Children’s Law Center of Minnesota into the future.
